The senior portrait sitting fee is $300 and includes hair, makeup, and a 5-outfit shoot.

 

A week after your shoot, you'll come back to choose a package! Packages begin at $2000.

You guys, we know. Senior portraits are notorious for being awkward. Everything from the stiff poses to the cheesy backgrounds, senior pictures have gotten a bad rap. We’ve created a formula that takes the “awkward” out of the entire process.

(Do people still say that?) But really, they're amazing. They only use the highest quality products to create the most beautiful, natural makeup looks for every skin tone and texture. you'll be surprised how much you love your makeup.

We're a husband & wife team, but i (christin) am the one that photographs all of our seniors. As a woman, i've got the advantage of knowing how a girl wants to look and feel. i'll pose you to perfection and fix your hair before every shot i take. I'm here to help you look natural AND FEEL CONFIDENT.

BEACHY WAVES

 

i might be the photographer, but i am also the in-house-beachy-waves-girl. That's right, I'm going to do your hair and take your pictures. I can't do AN updo to save my life, but i'll give you the best beachy waves those locks have ever seen. and if you want your hair straight, I can do that too.

MEET Christin & Jacob

 

Now that you've watched the video and seen us in action, we want to meet you!

 

You already know a little bit about me: I'm Christin, the blonde with a camera... the un-professional hair-doer, chatterbug of a photographer. That's right. I'll do your hair and take your picture and I'll probably talk the whole time. Sorry 'bout it.

 

I am a wife to Jacob and mama to Lilah (6), Sadie (4), Jay (2) and our baby Brooks... Yes, those are their ages... Yes, we are crazy people.

 

Speaking of "we". I do this whole thing with my husband, Jacob. He does all of my emailing and scheduling and ordering. He does basically everything I don't have time to do so that I can focus on the fun part - photographing YOU!

5 OUTFITS

 

You will be photographed in 5 outfits. Bring as many as you want to the shoot and we will help you choose the final outfits based on what you like best and what will photograph beautifully. You can bring anything from jean shorts and a tank to something as glamorous as your prom dress. It's totally up to you! Check out our website and Instagram #weheartseniors for outfit ideas.

 

Christin recommends: (1) Something dark, (2) something light, (3) something colorful/patterned, (4) something for the garden, & (5) something for the beach!

 

HAIR & SKIN

Please come to your shoot with clean, dry hair and a clean, moisturized face.

 

PARENTS

Parents are always welcome at our shoots! We encourage a parent to come to at least the first half of the shoot so that they can help you decide on outfits and whether you would like any changes once the hair and makeup is completed.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

 

(Answered by Jacob, my husband, business manager & question-answerer-extraordinaire)

The start time for your shoot is when makeup begins. For example, if your shoot is booked for 2:45pm then you will arrive at 2:45pm and makeup will begin at that time.
Typically it takes 2.5 - 3 hours from the time you arrive for makeup.
Parents are always welcome at our shoots! We encourage a parent to come to at least the first half of the shoot so that they can help you decide on outfits and whether you would like any changes once the hair and makeup is completed.
Please come to your shoot with clean, dry hair and a clean, moisturized face. Don’t forget to have your eyebrows groomed, nails clean and manicured, and, if you’re a spray-tanner, a fresh glow!
No problem! Just let us know ahead of time so we can let our makeup artist know! We bring her in for every shoot so we want to make sure we let her know if we don't need her!
Our makeup artists have absolutely everything they need to create gorgeous, natural makeup looks on every skin type and texture. With that said, if you’d like to bring any of your makeup, feel free! Our makeup artists want everything to be perfect for you, so if you have a specific mascara you love to use, or even just want to show them your normal eyeshadow tones, bring whatever you want!
95% of our seniors do end up choosing the false lashes to complete their makeup look, but it’s totally up to you! Our makeup artists use lashes that are natural, but add a beautiful definition to the eye. We will chat through all of the details of makeup before the artist gets to work.
We want you to look like YOU, so if you normally wear your hair straight or are blessed with tight curls, we recommend doing your hair the way you like it before coming to your session! You can always text us a photo of yourself if you’re not sure what to do about your hair and Christin will respond with her best recommendations.
Christin takes a test shot before the shoot actually begins and has you look at every single detail of the hair and makeup to make sure it’s perfect. The makeup artists don’t take anything personally, so if you don’t love your lip color, or need more bronzer, we’ve got you covered! We won’t shoot until everything is perfect for you.
You will be photographed in 5 outfits. Bring as many as you want to the shoot and we will help you choose the final outfits based on what you like best and what will photograph beautifully. You can bring anything from jean shorts and a tank to something as glamorous as your prom dress. It's totally up to you! Generally Christin recommends: (1) Something dark (like a little black dress), (2) something light (like a creamy sweater and ripped jeans), (3) something colorful/patterned (like a floral top or skirt), (4) something feminine for the garden (like a boho dress), & (5) something beachy for the beach (like a white t-shirt and boyfriend jeans)!
At the end of your session you will schedule your Ordering Session. Typically Seniors and a parent come back to the studio within a week to see all their images, select their favorites, and purchase a package.

We’ve got it all! Graduation Announcements, Albums, Canvases, Digital Files, Matted Images, and all standard print sizes.
Thankfully, we live somewhere where it hardly rains! Whenever we see rain in the forecast we usually wait till the day of the shoot to see exactly when it will be raining. Oftentimes it rains for an hour or two in a day and then is clear the rest of the day. If it is going to rain at the time of your session we will reschedule your session.
